FAQs About Light Booth

SCI&SCE are two method in the color measurement. SCI means Specular Component Include,SCE means Specular Component Exclude.

Under the method of SCE, only test diffuse refection and exclude specular reflection. In that way, the test result is similar to object color was observed by human eyes.

Under the method SCI, both the diffuse refection and specular reflection will be included. In that way, the value about the color is more objective. It will not effect by the environment condition.

When we choose the instrument, those elements should be taking into consideration.


Threenh Technology colorimeters provide a color deviation prompt function according to the Lab value, which can provide a reference for color matching. The handheld colorimeter can only indicate blacker, whiter, redder, greener, yellower or bluer, but it cannot provide accurate color formulas. Only with the help of a spectrophotometer and professional color matching software can fully realized automated color matching.

a. It’s needed to perform manual calibration for NH310 when first starting.

b. In the subsequent starting, NH310 will perform auto calibration at startup. No need to perform manual calibration.

c. Suggestion: it’s best to perform manual calibration once a week or when NH310 measured data is not accurate.
